World Bank's Chief Economist for South Asia, Mr. Hans Timmer visits IBA Karachi

November 18, 2021: A delegation led by Mr. Timmer met the Dean, School of Economics and Social Sciences, Dr. Asma Hyder, and faculty members of the School, and engaged with the students in an interactive session.

The discussion focused on social development, trade, and other key areas that the World Bank is working on in Pakistan. The representatives from the World Bank also briefed the IBA community about their recent report that focuses on reviving exports in Pakistan to improve the trade performance.
