Two teams reach final round of CFA Institute Research Challenge 2020-21

The IBA Karachi is pleased to announce that the two teams chosen to represent the institute at the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2020-21 have both reached the national finals. The teams have cleared the CFA Research Challenge first round where they performed a valuation of Meezan Bank and prepared an equity research report.

The teams will present their equity research analysis on Meezan Bank Limited to a panel of high-profile judges from the investment management industry in the final round. The team with the best presentation will be declared the national champion and will go on to represent their institute at the regional competition.

Dr. Sana Tauseef, Assistant Professor and Chairperson Finance Department, was the team advisor for both. Through her dedicated efforts in guiding the students in model building and report writing, she was able to add this feather to the cap of IBA Karachi.
