IBA student commissioned by Google for developing Khojki script

BS - Social Sciences and Liberal Arts
Ali Jan S. Damani along with Juan Bruce was commissioned by Google for developing script and professional tutorials of the Khojkī font. He is interested in the spread of Islam in the South Asian regions, therefore, 'Ginān' literature and the Khojkī script are of special interest to him.

The IBA students team was adjudged the national finalists for RedBull Basement 2020 and was also nominated for top 3 ideas around the world in the Global Workshop. The team is developing an application, UniThink, that digitizes the mediums of research and simultaneously provides data analysis to young researchers. The app would assist in building a community and incentivizing participants throughout the world.

Zain Ahmed competed against 500 students from top universities of Pakistan and won the KASB Trading Titan II. The participants were made to trade with Rs. 1 million in a virtual environment and build their portfolio within three months. Zain managed to generate a staggering return of approximately 197% ending September 30, 2020.

Ali Raza won 2 Gold medals (50m freestyle, 50m backstroke) and 3 Silver medals (50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle) in LUMS Sports Fest Swimming Championship. Apart from that, he also received the Best Swimmer award.
