Runners-Up of Leisure League 2021
The IBA Karachi is pleased to announce that its Girls Football Team were the Runners-Up in recently concluded Leisure League 2021, which was held in connection with Women's Day 2021 celebrations. The tournament offered an opportunity to Karachi's female talents to represent their universities and colleges in the sport of football. 6 teams from all over Karachi participated in this tournament, which was held at the Dreamworld Resort and hosted by Leisure League and World Group. The teams included Diya FC Blue, Diya FC Yellow, FCK, FAST NU, Highbrow and IBA United.
After playing well in the initial round, IBA United defeated FAST NU in the semifinals by a score of 1-0 and faced Diya FC Yellow in the finals. The final game was a closely-fought affair with the IBA United team showing immense strength and near-perfect defending skills to keep the opposition at bay for nearly the whole game. It was only till IBA United lost a player to injury and had to play with a player less did Diya FC Yellow make the additional player count and score 2 goals in the dying moments of the game.
IBA United lost the final 2-0 but showed grit and determination to make the opposition earn the trophy. The team was commended for their resilience throughout the tournament.

Winner of Karachi United University League 2020
The IBA Karachi is pleased to announce that its Girls Football Team has won the Karachi United University League 2020, which concluded in the end of December 2020. The team shone through in all their 7 matches against competing universities including NED, University of Karachi (UoK), Newports Institute of Commerce and Economics (NICE), Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL), Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) and Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET).
Ramsha Siddiqui, currently in her final semester in the BS-Accounting and Finance program played the role of a mentor, captain and coach for the football team during this tournament. The following students were part of the IBA Girls Football team that participated in the League:
