SPC and HESSA collaborate to strengthen IBA’s Strategic Planning Process

June 04, 2024: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi’s Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) and Higher Education Sustainability Support Alliance (HESSA) team met for an interactive discussion on IBA’s 2030 Strategic Plan (IBA-SP30) at the Main Campus.

Eminent participants included Dr. David Kieda, Distinguished Professor, Physics and Astronomy, University of Utah, United States of America representing HESSA, alongside key members of IBA’s SPC: Dr. Rameez Khalid, Dr. Lubna Naz, Dr. Shahid Hussain, Dr. Hilal Anwar Butt, and Dr. Saima Binte Saif. SP Cell’s Project Manager, Asghar Azmi, and Project Associate, Raza-Ul-Mustafa also attended this important meeting.

Dr. Khalid led the session with a comprehensive overview of the SPC’s function and current progress. The discussion then delved into IBA’s evolving landscape, intricacies of developing a comprehensive strategic plan, and sustaining the same.

The tentative work plan, discovery session, and the launch of the SPC’s landing page were all addressed and discussed during the productive meeting. This collaboration signifies a key step forward in refining and advancing IBA’s strategic planning process, paving the way for a prosperous future.
