SPC hosts ‘The Discovery Session’ for collaborative augmentation towards IBA’s strategic planning process

July 12, 2024: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi's Strategic Planning Cell (SPC) hosted a full-day event titled ‘The Discovery Session’ for the IBA fraternity. This inclusive session brought together faculty, staff, students, and alumni to collaboratively contribute to the development of the Institute's Strategic Plan 2030 (SP-30).

Dr. Rameez Khalid, SPC Chairperson, led the session with a comprehensive overview of SPC's role and current progress. SPC members Dr. Lubna Naz, Dr. Hilal Anwar Butt, Dr. Shahid Hussain, and Dr. Saima Binte Saif provided participants with detailed insights into the strategic planning process and the gap analysis.

The interactive session explored the evolving landscape of IBA, the intricacies of developing a robust strategic plan, and the strategies for ensuring its long-term sustainability. Participants, divided into focus groups, actively discussed and provided valuable input on assigned strategic directions critical to the Institute's future.

With over 50 attendees representing diverse departments, ‘The Discovery Session’ marks a significant milestone in gathering comprehensive input for the refinement and advancement of IBA's strategic planning process. This collaborative approach paves the way for a prosperous future for the IBA.
