SMCS organizes a session on Information Security Threats and Penetration testing

April 23, 2022: A guest speaker session was organized by Mr. Saiyed Shahab Ahmed, Visiting faculty, School of Mathematics and Computer Science, for the MS class of Cloud Security & Cyber Security. The session's topic was 'Information Security Threats and Penetration testing'. Mr. Waqar Ahmed, Information Security specialist, Perseus Group, with diversified experience in Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, and UK regions, was the guest speaker for the session. Mr. Ahmed discussed pertinent topics including, password attacks, windows security bypass, injection attacks and advanced hacking techniques during an interactive session with the students.
