SMCS organizes MS project presentations for MSCS and MSDS programs

July 4, 2024: The School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS), IBA Karachi, hosted an MS Project Poster session at the Main Campus. The event featured innovative projects from 20 MS (CS) and MS (DS) students, covering key technological domains such as Machine Learning, Data Science, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Cloud Computing, Generative AI, Business Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Computer Vision.

Students had the invaluable opportunity to present their work to industry leaders from top organizations including Systems Limited, Folio3, Sepia Solutions, Creative Chaos, Ai DataYard, AlphaVenture, Gaditek, and LoveforData.

Dean SMCS, Dr. Shakeel Khoja; Chairperson SMCS, Dr. Shahid Hussain; and Professor & Program Coordinator MS (CS) and MS (DS), Dr. Tariq Mahmood graced the event, emphasizing the importance of academia-industry collaboration in driving innovation.

The session concluded with esteemed guests sharing their views on the projects and expressing their interest in enhancing collaboration with SMCS. The event highlighted the critical role of such partnerships in fostering innovation and providing students with real-world exposure.
