SBS Hosts Faculty Engagement Session Focused on Curriculum Development and Program Enhancements
January 15, 2025: IBA-SBS hosted a dynamic Faculty Engagement Session organized by the AACSB Review and Execution Committee (AREC) and the school’s academic departments.
The session centered on discussions about the school's programs, ongoing improvements, and curriculum development processes. Insightful presentations were delivered by Dr. Muhammad Shafique, MBA Program Director; Dr. Ashar Saleem, Graduate Program Director; and Dr. Kanza Sohail, Undergraduate Program Director. These interactive presentations encouraged meaningful discussions, with faculty members actively providing feedback on the ongoing developments and sharing valuable insights.
The session also featured updates on the school’s progress, shared by Dean IBA-SBS, Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh and Dr. Sana Tauseef, Chair of AREC, and an update on teaching effectiveness by Ms. Tahira Jaffery. They highlighted the strides SBS has taken toward academic excellence and future goals.
Mr. Atif Murtaza, Lecturer and Head, Career Development Centre (CDC), conducted engaging team-building activities to strengthen bonds within the team. The enthusiasm of the faculty made the session productive.
