Pink Sports Day at the IBA Karachi

October 25, 2020: Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) and MNA Syma Nadeem, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Interprovincial Coordination, in collaboration with the IBA Karachi organized the Pink Sports Day Women's Netball Tournament at the IBA Netball Court to raise breast cancer awareness. The event was part of a campaign run by Begum Samina Arif Alvi, the First Lady of Pakistan.

The Women's Netball Tournament consisted of four teams also featuring the IBA Girls netball team. The chief guest of the ceremony was Mrs. Reema Ismail, the wife of Governor Sindh, Mr. Imran Ismail, who lauded the efforts of PNF and the IBA to shed light on this important cause while promoting it through healthy activities. She later distributed prizes amongst the winning team, the PNF Netball Academy who won 10-5 against the Karachi Netball Academy.

Dr. Danish Ali, Patron IBA Sports Society, Syed Guhar Raza Zaidi, IBA Manager Sports, Mr. Mudassir Arain, President Netball Federation, Mr. Riaz joint Secretary Pakistan Netball Federation, and General Secretary of Netball Federation, Ms. Hadia Rehman IBA Sports Coordinator were also present on the occasion.
