National Talent Hunt Program - Outreach activities in Gilgit-Baltistan

November 9-14, 2020: The National Talent Hunt program (NTHP) team from the IBA Karachi recently organized outreach activities in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, specifically in areas including Skardu, Gilgit, Hunza and Nagar. The week-long activity allowed the team to successfully conduct 10 information and awareness sessions and 1 open house session in 3 districts, with a total of 700+ students in attendance.

The team conducted awareness sessions at various colleges with the aim of encouraging talented and deserving students of HSSC Level-II to opt for higher studies under the "IBA Ihsan Trust National Talent Hunt Program - Batch 2021". The aim of this program is to facilitate deserving students facing financial constraints with an opportunity to pursue higher education by offering varying degrees of financial assistance once they are admitted into IBA Karachi. The team also discussed the NTHP application process, shortlisting and selection, benefits offered, success stories and potential career opportunities for the NTHP scholars.

Since 2004, more than 150 NTHP scholars belonging to all corners of Pakistan have successfully graduated from the IBA and presently working at national and international organizations. To know more about the IBA NTHP, please visit: http://nthp.iba.edu.pk
