Information Session for UG programs and NTHP conducted at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School

November 5, 2020: An information session was conducted by the IBA Marketing and National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) teams for the Intermediate students at the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School (AKHSS). The presentation was delivered to students in the morning shift as well as those attending classes in the afternoon shift to facilitate the maximum number of students. Each session was also streamed live for the benefit of those attending classes from home.

Each session, which was divided into two halves, began with a motivational talk to the students about following their dreams and working with dedication and passion to be the best version of themselves. This was followed by an introduction about IBA Karachi and the undergraduate programs on offer for Intermediate students. A strong focus was laid on eligibility criteria, diversity, co-curricular/extra-curricular activities and financial assistance in the presentation.

The second half of this session revolved around the NTHP and how IBA Karachi visited far-flung areas of the country to recruit talented and dedicated students for this program. A very elaborate and thorough discussion was held on the subject matter with quite a few students eager to get admission into IBA Karachi. From school visits, NTHP test preparation, NTHP orientation and IBA aptitude preparation to life at IBA and scholarships/financial assistance – it was all explained in great depth to the AKHSS students. In the question and answer session that followed the presentation, all queries relating to IBA Karachi and NTHP were answered and the students looked forward to applying to IBA to reap the benefits of the state-of-the-art facilities, university life and higher standard of education offered.
