IBA Karachi organized Annual Career Fair 2023

February 08, 2023: Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi held its Annual Career Fair 2023 at the Main Campus. This year’s Career Fair featured Friesland Campina as the Platinum sponsor, Meezan Bank and National Bank of Pakistan as the Silver sponsors, and Unilever, Systems, and Dawlance as the Bronze sponsors.

The Career Fair is held each year by the efforts of the IBA Alumni and Placement Society with the help of the management at IBA, to help provide both corporate companies and emerging ventures with the chance to engage with the diverse community of IBA.

The fair was organized with exponential zeal through bringing on-board 170+ companies and more than 60 career and academic counselors. The companies in attendance were from a variety of industries including consumer goods, banking, e-commerce, software development, food, and textile.

Executive Director, IBA Karachi, Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, commended the efforts behind the successful event and stated, “Today, we saw the IBA Alumni and Placement Society break previous records by ensuring the presence of a large number of prestigious and innovative companies at this year’s career fair.”

The event provided the students with an opportunity to interact with more than 60 industry experts regarding their career exploration, academic issues, and development on a one-on-one basis. These counseling sessions were aimed at providing students the personalized support in nurturing their career growth and included counselors from renowned brands like Unilever, L’Oreal, Shan Foods, Engro, P&G, GroupM, and Pepsi.

The event partners included Califord as the clothing partner, Dominos as food partner, Pepsi as beverages partner, Mukati Studio as photography partner, and Vouch365 and Reckitt as gift partners. Hilal joined as snacking partner, Qureos as digitization partner, Vital Cafe as tea partner, and 322 Bakerstreet as the dessert partner.
