IBA Karachi and National Computer Emergency Response Team (PKCERT) collaborate to strengthen cybersecurity initiatives

July 25, 2024: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and National Computer Emergency Response Team (PKCERT), have formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at bolstering cybersecurity efforts and fostering innovation in Pakistan. The MoU was signed by Director General, PKCERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, and Dean, School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, IBA, Dr. Shakeel Khoja.

This MoU signifies a commitment to a collaborative framework designed to address the increasing challenges of cybersecurity threats, cyber terrorism, and cyber espionage. It outlines a comprehensive plan to leverage both institutions' strengths to develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, enhance research and development, and cultivate a skilled workforce equipped to safeguard the nation's digital infrastructure.
