IBA Karachi to collaborate with Total Parco Pakistan Limited to facilitate students

June 21, 2021: The Chief Executive Officer of Total Parco Pakistan Limited (TPPL), Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu visited the senior management at the IBA Main Campus to discuss possible areas of collaboration.

The TPPL Team was represented by Mr. Kashif Chaudhry, Vice President, Human Resource & Administration and Mr. Waheed Murad, Assistant Manager, HR Support. The IBA team included, Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director; Dr. Shakeel Khoja, Dean, School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS); Dr. Rameez Khalid, Director, Center for Executive Education (CEE); Ms. Malahat Awan, Director, Alumni and Corporate Relations (ARC); and Mr. Danish Imtiaz, Manager Career Development Center (CDC).

The TPPL team shared a few avenues on which they would like to collaborate with the IBA, which includes recruitment and placements, employee training and development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives with a particular focus on green energy and improving gender diversity in the organization. Mr. Celepoglu said that TPPL wishes to recruit top talent from all the leading institutes of the country as they are in a dire need of competent and passionate resources.

Dr. Khalid briefed the guests about various training options available under CEE. The TPPL team showed interest in building a partnership with the CEE for trainings of their employees. Furthermore, Dr. Khoja explained endeavors undertaken by the SMCS and offered to collaborate on research work. Mr. Imtiaz explained the services offered by the IBA to its employers and mentioned that IBA is the only educational institution in Pakistan having its own customized job portal, which offers a one window solution to all its stakeholders for their career and job needs.
