IBA hosts a session with industry leaders to discuss the future of business education

May 21, 2024: The School of Business Studies and Alumni Affairs Department at the IBA Karachi hosted an engagement session with the senior industry leaders and entrepreneurs, as well as IBA faculty and Program Directors.

The topic of the meeting was charting the future course for the School of Business Studies. Dr. Abdullah Zafar, Dean SBS shared the School’s vision and apprised the audience about the current situation regarding the School.

The discussion commenced with an introduction of the newly formed School of Business Studies. It then moved to issues surrounding the changing dynamics of business education, which is constantly evolving and the need to keep up with the ever-changing demands of industry. The universities are offering a wide range of courses that cater to various aspects of business. One of the key areas of focus is entrepreneurship.
