IBA hosted a Higher Education System Strengthening Activity (HESSA) training

December 07-08, 2022: As a partner university of the HESSA project, IBA held a two-day training at the Main Campus.

Fifteen Heads of Departments from five universities including IBA, Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Fatima Jinnah Women University, National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST), and University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore were guided in developing their vision for long-term sustainability, faculty improvement and student success.

HESSA trainers included Dr. Delores Robinson, University of Alabama; Dr. Sajjad Ahmad, University of Nevada; Dr. Michael Barber and Dr. Stacy Harwood, University of Utah.

A HESSA partner universities' Vice Chancellors (VC) meeting was held on the second day of the training where Dr. Aslam Chaudhry, Chief of Party, HESSA, together with the VCs discussed future HESSA interventions.
