IBA-CICT conducts final symposium of PM's Kamyab Jawan National Youth Development Program 2020
March 30, 2021: The Final Symposium of the Prime Minister's Kamyab Jawan National Youth Development Program 2020, a project of the federal government together with the Center for Information and Communication Technology (CICT), was held at the IBA Karachi, City Campus.
Several industry experts from the banking sector, insurance, IT, and telecom sectors, including C-level executives, attended the event. Director, CICT, Dr. Imran Batada, along with the industry experts, met the students, who presented and explained the progress of their projects and proposed the roadmap to further achieve their desired goals.
The students also shared at length the activities they have carried out so far. The industry experts carried out cross-questioning to further clarify the progress. Furthermore, the experts gave their valuable suggestions to the students and guided them how they can utilize their skills and start earning money.
Prime Minister's Kamyab Jawan National Youth Development Program aims to provide practical training to the youth free-of-cost in highly employable, high-tech trades and emerging technologies to enable them to seek employment in the national and international market. The purpose of doing so is to build capacity of those motivated students who wish to achieve big things in their lives but due to financial constraints cannot afford the fee charged by the institutes for the high-tech training.
