IBA-CED hosts delegations from EU and UNIDO

September 12, 2022: The delegations of European Union (EU) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) visited Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) at IBA City Campus.

Mr. Azad Ahmed, Acting Head IBA-CED, along with CED team welcomed the delegations and provided a comprehensive overview of the activities of IBA-CED in promoting entrepreneurship in Pakistan. Mr. Carlo De ROSA, EU delegation member, appreciated the role of IBA-CED and shared the details of the Poverty Alleviation and Inclusive Development Across Rural Sindh (PAIDAR) project being implemented by UNIDO with funding from EU.

This was a follow-up visit of the UNIDO team along with donor organization, EU, to finalize the partner for entrepreneurship, training and mentoring under the PAIDAR project. They showed satisfaction over IBA-CED's entrepreneurship model and expertise and hoped that they would partner with it in the next few months to execute the project in Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Tharparkar, and Larkana.
