IBA CED conducted a 5-Day boot camp on ‘Pitching of Business Ideas’ under Prime Minister's National Innovation Award (PMNIA) executed by HEC

February 06-10, 2023: Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi in collaboration with HEC conducted a 5-Day boot camp on ‘Pitching of Business Ideas’ under Prime Minister's National Innovation Award (PMNIA).

More than 50 participants from all across Sindh province attended this boot camp. IBA CED engaged its esteemed trainers, who have extensive experience of working with startups and raising funding. The trainers included Mr. Jawwad Farid, Professor of Practice, School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (SMCS); Mr. Muhammad Hassan Khan, IBA alumni and CEO, Trax Logistics; Ms. Kanza Sohail, Lecturer, School of Business Studies (SBS); Dr. Saima Husain, Assistant Professor, SBS and Director QEC.

The boot camp provided the participants with a hands-on experiential learning to improve their business ideas and how to pitch them to an audience pitch deck by getting one-on-one mentoring, in addition to regular in class training.

The trainees will pitch in the PMNIA to win seed money of up to PKR 2 Million under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program.
