IBA Aman CED celebrated fundraising success of its incubated company Valeem
January 14, 2023: IBA Aman Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), organized an event to celebrate the fundraising success of its incubated company Valeem at IBA City Campus.
Dr. Lalarukh Ejaz, Director IBA Aman CED welcomed the guests, speakers, and participants. She congratulated Valeem for successfully raising pre-seed funding from a US-based angel investor. She also highlighted the role of IBA Aman CED in fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, empowering IBA students and the broader community to make meaningful contributions to Pakistan's economy through advancements in sustainable entrepreneurship. Dr. Ejaz also distributed souvenirs to the Valeem team.
Mr. Ali Rehan, Co-founder Valeem, described the integral role played by IBA Aman CED in Valeem's success. He thanked the center's team for their continued support in Valeem's journey. Furthermore, he said that this seed fund will accelerate their online growth and improve the platform's usability for teachers, students, and parents. Mr. Ghayas uddin, Co-founder Valeem, discussed the business model of Valeem and how it has contributed to revolutionize the Edtech sector of Pakistan by providing an interactive marketplace for both students and teachers.
This event was attended by the Valeem team, center's incubatees and various stakeholders. The event ignited the motivation amongst other startups to grow and create an impact in the overall ecosystem of the country.
