Q1 Which Banks are Supported?

Q2 What is the procedure?
There are two routes through which you can pay the fees, Direct and 1Bill-Topup. Login to your Bank Internet Banking website/app with the credentials provided by the bank.
- When using Direct method, just search for IBA in Bill Payment section. The consumer number is your ERP number, proceed forward. The system will return your name from our records (important). Save the settings and make transactions as and when needed.
- When using 1Bill-Topup, search for 1Bill in the Bill payment section, system will return 1Bill Topup as one of the options, select it. The consumer number will be 100422[Your 5 digit ERP Number] (without brackets), for example your ERP number is 04879, your consumer number will be 10042204879. For confirmation that you have selected the correct consumer number, your name will be displayed from our system (important – as this verifies your transaction). Save the settings and pay the fee.
Q3 How do I get the username and password for internet Banking?
Your bank will provide them. These are confidential and unique to every bank account and should not be shared with anyone.
Q4 Do I get any charge for this of transactions?
Normally yes, depends on your terms and condition with your bank. Though at the time of this writing, the transactions cost has been waived by the banks due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Q5 Does IBA charge any fee for this transaction?
IBA does not charge any fee for first 4 transactions in a financial year i.e. July-June. After that Rs.25 per transaction will be charge to your ledger. Though, due to recent outbreak you can make more transactions.
Q6 Is this secure?
The security is handled by the bank. Call them to understand the risk of the transactions.
Q7 What is the difference between Direct and 1Bill option?
In Direct option, you will add IBA as a Biller and the consumer number will be your ERP number. In 1Bill you will add 1Bill – Topup as the biller and your consumer number will have a prefix of 100422 with your ERP number. For confirmation you will see your name from ERP record displayed against the consumer number.
Q8 Do I need IBA's Bank account number?
No. this is not a bank to bank transfer, rather a bill payment service.
Q9 I have IBA's Bank Account Number – should I transfer the amount?
No. It is highly unrecommended. Understand that IBA will receive no information on who has transfer this amount – no account number, name or ERP no. Hence creating a risk of your payment getting lost or claimed by someone else.
Q10 Will IBA issue any receipt for this transaction?
Currently No. Though we are working on such system and will be communicated to you when it is launched. Though, Banks usually issue a confirmation note that of the payment – this should suffice for your record.
Q11 Do you need to share any evidence of payment with IBA?
No. Just keep the evidence with you for your record. IBA will get the information from the Bank.
