Q1 Which banks facilitate in paying the IBA fee online?
A1 Currently you can pay your fee online through the following banks:

For Direct Option

A2 What is the procedure?

Q3 How do I get the username and password for internet banking?
A3 Your bank will provide these details. These are confidential and unique to every bank account and should not be shared with anyone.

Q4 Do I have to pay extra charges for this type of transaction?
A4 Normally yes, however, it depends upon the terms and conditions of your bank.

Q5 Does IBA charge any fee for this transaction?
A5 IBA does not charge any fee for first four transactions in a financial year i.e. July-June. After that PKR 25/- per transaction will be charged to your ledger.

Q6 Is it a secure method to pay the fee?
A6 The security is solely handled by the bank. Call them to understand the risks of the transactions.

Q7 What is the difference between Direct and 1Bill Top-up option?
A7 In the ‘Direct option’, you will add IBA as a biller and the consumer number will be your ERP number. In 1Bill you will add 1Bill – Top-up as the biller and your consumer number will have a prefix of 100422 with your ERP number. For confirmation you will see your name from ERP record displayed against the consumer number.

Q8 Do I need IBA’s bank account number?
A8 No, because it is not a bank-to-bank transfer, but a bill payment service.

Q9 I have IBA’s bank account number – should I transfer the amount?
A9 No, it is not recommended. Please understand that IBA will receive no information on who has transferred the amount – no account number, name or ERP number will be in the record. Hence, creating a risk of your payment getting lost or claimed by someone else.

Q10 Will IBA issue any receipt for this transaction?
A10 This facility is not available right now. However, we are working on the system and will be communicated to you when it is launched. Please note that banks usually issue a confirmation note of the payment which should suffice for your record.

Q11 Do you need to share any evidence of payment with IBA?
A11 No. Just keep the evidence with you for your record. IBA will get the information from the bank.
