Dr. Miftah Ismail sheds light on debts and deficits in Pakistani economy

Dr. Miftah Ismail, a renowned Pakistani politician, political economist and former Minister of Finance paid a visit to the IBA Main Campus, Karachi for a Guest Speaker session. He was invited to speak to students registered for the class of "Major Issues in Pakistan's Economy". Dr. Miftah shared his valuable insights and spoke at length on a topic titled, "Debts and Deficits related to Pakistan's Economy". In his lecture, he highlighted the importance of savings in society and emphasized that debt, if utilized properly can lead to higher growth. During the engaging lecture, he interacted with students and answered all their questions pertaining to the lecture as well as other economic policies that were relevant.
