CEE hosts Directors' Training Program 2022

March 14-18, 2022: The Center for Executive Education (CEE), IBA hosted a five-day Directors' Training Program at the IBA City Campus, Karachi.

Directors' Training Program (DTP) is recognized by Chartered Management Institute, UK. It consists of 2 modules and is approved by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). DTP provides guidance on targeted areas to ensure that Directors of listed companies with specific requirements remain up to date. This program is extensively prepared by subject matter experts and is designed to keep Directors of listed companies abreast of leading trends and practices that promote good governance, protect competitive advantages, and prepare for regulatory change.

Dr. Ishrat Husain, Former Advisor to the Prime Minister on Institutional Reforms and Austerity and Former Dean and Director IBA Karachi was the guest speaker for the program.

The training panel included members of the IBA faculty and practitioners including, Dr. Huma Baqai, Associate Professor of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts; Ms. Mahreen Nazar, Assistant Professor of Law; Mr. Abdul Rahim Suriya, Visiting Faculty; Mr. Amar Naseer, Corporate Lawyer; Ms. Nausheen Ahmad, General Counsel, ICI Pakistan Ltd; Mr. Faheem-ul-Hassan, Partner, A.F. Ferguson & Co.
