CDC organizes a Fireside Chat with CEO Dunkin' International Franchises

September 26, 2022: Career Development Center (CDC), IBA organized first Fireside Chat with Mr. Abdul Rafay Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dunkin' International Franchises Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Rafay shared his experience with students and guided them on how they can excel in the corporate world. He emphasized that data analytics is an emerging field and soon businesses will start adopting it. "I find this skill helpful in terms of monitoring sales and learning about new insights", he stated. Problem solving, emotional intelligence and resilience were key aspects of the discussion.

One of his suggestions to the students was, "To excel in the corporate world, your soft skills play a huge role and you need to get out of your comfort zone and keep yourself updated. Explore opportunities and have a high standard of accountability."

The discussion was followed by an interactive Q&A session, where students asked numerous questions and found the session encouraging and insightful.
