CDC hosts the IBA Corporate Leaders Advisory Board Focus Group Discussions

July 4 -6, 2022: The IBA's Career Development Center (CDC) hosted the IBA Corporate Leaders Advisory Board (ICLAB) Focus Group Discussions with the industry at the City Campus. Spread over two days, the discussions were held in four different groups each comprising of employers from similar or parallel industries. The prime objectives of these focus groups were to discuss the relevance of our academic programs and curriculum, understand the current and future market trends, solicit feedback on quality of the IBA graduates, and get candid opinion about employers' recruitment experiences with the IBA.

The academic Program Directors and Coordinators along with Senior Manager, CDC, Mr. Danish Imtiaz, moderated all these discussions. Sessions were attended by representatives from around 40 reputable organizations including COOs, Heads of HR, Functional and Talent Acquisition leads. Companies from the IT, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Banking, Insurance, Finance, e-Commerce, Audit and Consultancy, Manufacturing, Startups, Retail, and Social Sectors along with a group of conglomerates.

Participants shared amazing feedback, comments, and reviews about IBA's academic programs, market perception, and the quality of students and graduates. The discussions were insightful and highly interactive and helped the IBA's School of Business Studies academic leadership team in gathering a diverse and widespread feedback for the improvement of academic programs and other related services.
