Bank Alfalah Islamic Scholarship

October 16, 2020: As part of the National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP), Bank Alfalah Islamic has collaborated with the IBA Karachi to set up the "Alfalah Islamic Scholarship Program" to help deserving students belonging to underdeveloped areas of Pakistan. A total of 10 students, screened via the IBA's internal scholarship criteria, were personally interviewed by Dr. Muhammad Imran, the Group Head Bank Alfalah IBG.

The students were accompanied by Mr. Rizwan Bukhari, Assistant Manager, Talent Hunt Programs to the Bank Alfalah Head Office. Out of these 10 students, 5 were shortlisted and have received full financial assistance for the academic year 2020-21. This experience has proven to be extremely enriching as it is enabling the students to benefit from first-hand experience with in-depth interviews at a well-established and esteemed organization.

The NTHP was launched in 2004 with the objective to prepare high achieving students belonging to the less-privileged regions of the country for the IBA's BBA and BS degree programs' aptitude test. Once enrolled at the IBA, these students are provided need-based scholarships for the entire duration of their respective programs. The scholarship comprises boarding and lodging, tuition and other fees charged by the IBA and comes with a stipend.
