SMCS Hosts MS Poster Presentation 2026 Demonstrating Research Excellence and Innovation
January 05, 2026: The School of Mathematics & Computer Science (SMCS) successfully organized the MS Poster Presentation 2026 on January 05, 2026, at the IBA Main Campus. The event served as a vibrant platform bringing together academia and industry to promote innovation, applied research, and student-led problem solving.
Students from the MS Computer Science, and MS Data Science programs presented a wide range of research-driven projects addressing real-world challenges across artificial intelligence, data science, healthcare, DevOps, manufacturing, supply chain management, education, and enterprise analytics. The poster presentations enabled students to articulate their research objectives, methodologies, and outcomes while receiving constructive feedback from experts.
A key highlight of the event was the strong participation from industry, with professionals from Astera Software, VentureDive, Afiniti, Folio3, and Tafsol Technologies evaluating the projects. Their insights focused on technical depth, scalability, and market relevance, helping students align their academic research with evolving industry expectations and professional standards.
The showcased projects reflected the depth and diversity of research at SMCS, including AI-based healthcare solutions, autonomous AI agents, intelligent hiring and interview platforms, advanced anomaly detection systems for manufacturing, data migration using large language models (LLMs), and digital twin applications utilizing wearable data.
