Successfully Defends PhD in Mathematics at IBA-SMCS

Ms. Nazia Jabeen, a PhD scholar in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at IBA Karachi, has successfully defended her PhD in Mathematics. Her thesis, titled “Standard Bases of Modules over Local Subalgebras,” was supervised by Dr. Junaid Alam, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences, IBA-SMCS.

The defense was attended by PhD scholars and faculty members from the Department of Mathematical Sciences and was evaluated by Dr. Imran Anwar, Associate Professor, Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan, and Dr. Sohail Imran, Assistant Professor, COMSATS University Islamabad.
