IBA students shine at Interschool Rowing Regatta with record-breaking performances
Rowing teams from the IBA participated in the Interschool Rowing Regatta (ISR) at the Karachi Boat Club. A spectacular display of athleticism was witnessed as teams from various educational institutions converged for this highly anticipated international rowing competition. Among the contenders, IBA emerged as the undisputed powerhouse, dominating both indoor and outdoor rowing events with an outstanding performance.
In the indoor events, IBA performed exceptionally well, especially in the fiercely competitive U25 Men’s category, where the team secured three gold medals along with one silver. The U25 Women's category witnessed another remarkable feat with an additional gold medal, showcasing the depth of talent within the institution. Notably, the IBA teams also managed to set four new records in the process.
Transitioning to the open waters, IBA's momentum remained unwavering. In the U25 Men's and Women's categories, the teams showcased extraordinary skill and determination. The U25 Men's team demonstrated resilience by securing a silver and a bronze medal. Simultaneously, the U25 Women's team continued to shine, claiming two well-deserved gold medals.
