IBA Karachi and Queen Mary University enter a strategic partnership

November 28, 2023: The International Resource Center (IRC), Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi hosted a delegation from Queen Mary University, London at the Main Campus to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Dean Student Affairs, IBA, Maheen Ghauri, and Dr. Stefan Krummaker, Professor, Leadership Practice and Deputy Vice-Principal of Education, Queen Mary University signed the MoU. Alongside Dr. Krummaker, the delegation also included Mr. Lee Wildman, Director, Global Engagement, Queen Mary University, and Saad Hasan, Regional Advisor (Pakistan and Bangladesh).

Through this MoU, IBA becomes an official partner with Queen Mary University for student mobility and subsidized master’s programs for IBA students.

Conversations for exchange programs have already commenced; further discussions are currently underway for student exchange and study abroad programs, student mobility and summer courses for IBA students at Queen Mary University, along with faculty and student research collaboration.

Dr. Krummaker delivered a presentation on "Strategic Leadership of Higher Education Institutions," attended by approximately 40 members of the IBA faculty and staff. The session facilitated the exchange of noteworthy initiatives and ideas among participants.
