IBA Karachi Hosted Meet & Greet Session for the SBS Undergraduate Program
May 02, 2025: The Undergraduate Office at IBA-SBS recently hosted a warm and engaging Meet & Greet Session for candidates and their parents who qualified the first round of admissions to the undergraduate business programs, BBA, BS Accounting and Finance, and BS Business Analytics.
The session began with informative presentations on the undergraduate programs, campus life, and career prospects—designed to help students and their families better understand the programs they have opted for and get acquainted with the IBA community and campus life. Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, Dean, SBS congratulated the students and their parents on securing their admission to IBA-SBS, highlighting the rigorous admission process and low selection rate. Dr. Kanza Sohail Khanani, Director, Undergraduate Programs welcomed the students on campus and explained the program structure and the IBA-SBS advantage, Dr Asad Ilyas, Registrar IBA, shed light on the campus facilities, student enrolment and UMS at IBA, Mr. Atif Murtaza, lecturer and Head of Career Development Centre and Mr. Ammar Habib Khan, Assistant Professor of Practice discussed the career prospects and opportunities. Lastly, Mr. Kumail Alim, a current BBA student shared his experience of campus life and resources.
This was followed by a dynamic Q&A session featuring a distinguished panel of faculty members and representatives from various support units, during which students and parents actively posed their questions to the panel members.
The event concluded with a lively networking opportunity, where students and parents connected with faculty, support staff, and fellow batchmates—building relationships that mark the beginning of their academic journey at IBA.
