Mr. Tabraze has been nominated by State Bank of Pakistan to be the Accountant-Member of its 'Shari'ah Advisory Committee'. This position used to be occupied by a senior partner of one of the big-4 accounting firms, and this is the first time that an academician, outside accounting practice, has been nominated.
