Fatima Sadik, Teaching Fellow from the Faculty of Business Administration, presented her paper titled 'Estimating and Forecasting Term Structure of Interest Rate: which Three-Factor Affine Model is Better' at the Applied Economics Research Centre, University of Karachi's Annual International Conference, in Islamabad on November 19-20, 2019. The conference was hosted by the Applied Economics Research Centre, University of Karachi. The study focused on the developing bond market in Pakistan and made recommendations about which term-structure model explains the movement of interest rate in Pakistan. It was a paper that also focused on creating evidence-based awareness about current and past development trajectories of Pakistan
