A session on the challenges and usefulness of Omni and Multi retail channels
January 21, 2020: FMCG Veteran, Fuad Chundrigar was invited to the IBA, Karachi by Assistant Professor Marketing and Director CEE Jami Moiz to address the MBA Retail Management class regarding the challenges and usefulness of the Omni and Multi retail channels.
Mr. Chundrigar has over 20 years of experience in branded consumer business with reputable companies like Unilever, Danone and Kraft International (Mondelez) in different countries around the world, including France, Egypt, UAE, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. His vast experience allowed him to provide students with the unique real-world insights about how the consumer interacts with the retail market. The session focused on how an Omni-channel integrates different retails channels under a cohesive strategy thus ensuring the consumer has the same experience no matter, which platform they interact on. Mr. Chundrigar not only talked about the workings of the Pakistani retail market but also how the use of modern-day analytic systems has the market evolving at an impressive pace. By the end of this informative session students were left with a better understanding of the market they would be joining soon.
