Fire Safety and Emergency Response Training held at IBA, Karachi

January 15, 2020: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA)'s Administration department conducted a fire safety and emergency response training at the IBA Staff Town. The training was attended by more than 100 staff members from IBA, Karachi and Hussain Ebrahim Jamal Research Institute of Chemistry (HEJ) of International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi.

The participants were educated about the major workplace hazards, preventions that should be taken to avoid fires and the response that one should have in case of such incidents taking place.

The aim of the training was to train the staff to take safety measure in crisis; introduce safety culture and to give them a better grasp of the basic mechanism of calling for help during contingency.
