Data Science specialist enlightens students on career prospects in the tech industry

January 18, 2024: The School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS) hosted a seminar on 'Building a Career in Data Science' with guest speaker Mr. Bilal Farooq, Lead in Data Science and Squad Lead at WooliesX, Sydney, Australia.

Mr. Farooq shared practical tips, including the importance of a strong math foundation, programming skills, effective communication, and wise career choices.

The seminar was attended by students and faculty, who received valuable insights for a successful journey in the field of Data Science.
