NTHP Student Awais Rasool selected as a Delegate in H/LAR Conference 2015
Congratulations for being selected as a 'delegate' to represent iba karachi in the harvard initiative for latin american relations Fall conference 2015 to be held at harvard university, cambridge (usa)
Awais Rasool s/o Ghulam Rasool, student of the BBA Program –Fall 2012, Semester VII, under the National Talent Hunt Program –Batch 2012 has been selected as a "Delegate" to represent IBA Karachi in the Harvard Initiative for Latin American Relations –Fall Conference -2015 to be held in Harvard University, Cambridge (USA). The conference will be held from October 31, 2015 to November 1, 2015.
The original mission of HILAR was to provide a space for students to discuss relevant issues and topics concerning Latin America in the 21st century, and allow for collaboration among students from all over the region in order to ignite cross-cultural solidarity and engaged discussion. We still firmly believe in this mission, which is why we have chosen human rights, inequality, entrepreneurship, and education as the themes for this conference. The region of Latin America has seen an incredible push towards economical and social progress and equality over the past few decades. With the re-emergence of democracy and elections in many countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Costa Rica among others, Latin America has left many theorists, economists, and politicians baffled at how a region that was so often labeled as "backwards" or "inferior" was able to prove itself as an undeniable actor on the global political stage.
It will be the great honor for IBA Karachi & IHSAN TRUST that he has been selected as a Delegate in the HILAR Conference 2015 to held at the Harvard University, Cambridge (USA).
We the team members of NTHP/SFP Program congratulate Awais Rasool and wish him all success in the future endeavors.
