CEE hosted a fireside chat on ‘Public Policy and Project Management’

September 25, 2023: IBA-CEE in collaboration with School of Business Studies and School of Economics and Social Sciences hosted a fireside chat on ‘Public Policy and Project Management - Charting Pakistan's Course Ahead’ in Islamabad.

Panelists for the session included Dr. Ishrat Husain and Dr. S Akbar Zaidi and was moderated by Dr. Asma Hyder.

The event kicked off with a welcome note by Dr. Abdullah Zafar, Dean School of Business Studies, who apprised the audience about IBA's engagement in the region and highlighed the significance of public policy and project management in the development of the country.

A fireside chat between the panelists ensued, where they discussed their experiences in the public policy and project management domains and how they can play a role in shaping the future of the country. The floor was then open to the audience for questions. The event closed with notes from Mr. Riaz Chunara and Mr. Kamran Bilgrami, Director CEE, expressing gratitude to the speakers and the attendees, and further discussing how IBA and NIBAF are collaborating in the region, announcing Post Graduate Diplomas in Public Policy and Project Management.

The event brought together experts and attendees eager to learn from the panelists' experience on public policy and project management.
