ACCW hosts an inspiring calligraphy workshop

November 15 - December 06, 2023: The Ardeshir Cowasjee Centre for Writing at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi hosted a Calligraphy Workshop (four sessions in total) at the Main Campus.

The sessions were conducted by the esteemed Ustadh Amir Asghar who has more than twenty years of experience in this art. The basics of four types of calligraphy styles namely Naskh, Nastaliq, Kufi, and Ruq'ah, were taught during the workshop. The participants, ranging from students to faculty and staff members, actively participated in the workshop. Amir Asghar's prowess in calligraphy turned this workshop into a great learning experience for all the participants.

The Writing Centre looks forward to collaborating with him and will be hosting similar events in the future.
