Training on ERT Concepts, Rescue & Survival and Fire Emergency
On Friday, 23rd February 2018 : A Professional Training session was conducted on (ERT) Emergency Response Concepts, Rescue & Survival, First Aid and Fire Emergency. Concepts of Electric Audit were discussed in detail with the audience. The basic aim was to train the participants to react quickly in resolving crises, preventing fire, and saving others’ lives. Emphasis was given on creating SOPs of fire. It is worth mentioning a fact that audience participation was very interactive throughout the session. Fire safety codes were explained. Use of first Aid Box and need of first Responders with leadership skills was inculcated in the minds of audience.
Main Highlights of the Workshop include:
- First Aid-Emergency response fire triangle.
- Fire sources & ignitions - Active Fire Protection.
- Passive fire Protection-Fire Risk assessment.
- Fire Risk Management-Modern Fire Fighting Technology.
- Responsibilities of Fire Wardens. Assembly area & protection.
- Fire Safety Provisions 2016 PEC
Apart from all above, I would like to pay my sincere thanks to Dr. Izhar, Kamran Bilgrami and the team of CEE for generating excellent efforts. Mr. Rizwan Rizvi & the Administration Team of City Campus worked very diligently to improve upon the overall Safety procedures at Aman Tower. Such trainings will develop a culture of Safety at IBA. All may be able to react fast during a real life threatening emergency and save valuable lives and property/building.
