Ceremony to celebrate and honor Influential Women in Islamic
Finance who are leading change, breaking barriers and creating
new possibilities in the world of Islamic Finance globally.
Dr. Irum Saba is Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and Finance and Program Director, MS Islamic Banking and Finance, IBA. She has the honor to be the first Pakistani female to be part of an international Shariah advisory board in South East Asia and Middle East. She is also a member of Grand Council of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF) Malaysia.
This is not the first time she is being recognized for her achievements and contributions in the development of the Islamic finance industry. She had the honor to be the first international female to receive the Women on Board Distinction & Award for Best Young Woman Professional in 2016 by First Lady of Maldives.
The IBA recognizes Dr. Irum’s valuable contributions in the field of Islamic Finance and wishes her all the best for her future endeavors.
